In fall of 1995 it was Jerusalem´s 3000th birthday. The 4th of September the birthday-celebrations began and will continue until January 1997.
We would like to encourage a wide range of creative people, including students going up to well-known artists, who regard the medium Mail-Art as an appropriate way of communication, to give their share to the exposition on the topic "3000 Years Jerusalem".

INTERNATIONAL MAIL ART PROJECT

All techniques (drawings, water-color, photographics, texts, digital generated pictures, collages, etchings, etc.) are allowed and might be combined among each other.
Every contribution should be sent in a letter to the address named above. The envelope of this letter is going to be one part of the exposition, too. Deadline is the 30th of September 1996. In fall 1996 all your contributions are being handed out as a gift to the City of Jerusalem and are going to be exposed there.
Please distribute copies of this letter to friends, acquaintances and colleagues interested in this matter and further to your regional newspaper. Perhaps you might translate it into a foreign language ?
